Growing small businesses is a win-win

The businesses housed at Tech’s Humana Enterprise Center are given an opportunity to pursue their innovative ideas in a supportive environment that puts the university’s resources at their fingertips.

Malone was a three-time Class C Player of the Year at Summerfield High before going to earn All-American and All-Southland Conference honors at Tech, where he helped lead the Bulldogs to a 29-3 record and regular season and postseason tourney titles in the league as a junior.
“I thank Louisiana Tech for seeing something in what I could do and also believing in me,” he said. “I’m here today because of God, my mother (Shirley Jackson Malone) and my grand-father (Leonard Jackson). I grand-father was closer to the perfect male figure in my

Crash ends high-tension chase

Edgeworth, Washington, Bowers and Butler were all wearing seatbelts at the time of the accidents.
Ruston High School teacher Lynn Dowden had three students on the streets in a driver’s education car and witnessed the first head-on collision on Trenton Street along with students Justin Norman, 15, and Tramaine Wright, 16. Struggling with the urge to vacation

Before I can even realize, I’m picturing seagulls winging overhead, feeling hot sand burning my feet and tasting saltwater.
I guess my mind has been on vacation as my body works through the regular daily routine at work and at home.
The beach, to me, is the ultimate vacation.

Museum overdue for state sports’ stars

Well, one of those events was held under sunny skies off of Main Street in this beautiful and gracious city back in January.
The enthusiasm and optimism surrounding the groundbreaking ceremonies was tantamount to those thousands of LSU fans who were basking in the glory of their second BCS national title in five years earlier in the same month.
Really, the timing couldn’t have been better for both events to have transpired within only a few short days of each other.
