Dubach chief asks for help

Croxton said he believes the prowlers are trying to scare residents or looking for items of value to steal.
“I live alone — what would I do?” said resident Charlain Hanna, who described to the council several recent incidents that led her to call police. “I’ve never been afraid until just recently.”

Williams, former head of the speech and theater department, said KGRM was established in approximately 1960 or 1961 by George L. Wesley, former instructor in the department.

Students urged to ‘Get In’

“It’s an urgent matter,” Director of Media Relations Ralph Wilson said about getting students, faculty and staff members signed up with FirstCall. “The process will be efficient in the event there is an emergency of some sort.”
Thus, the university wants campus-wide participation. Wilson said GSU needs 50 percent of the student body to be on board for FirstCall to be completely effective, though it is far from that as of late.
