West Monroe is undefeated in or outside of the district, and pulled out a 35-6 victory in regular-season play over the ’Cats. This is one important game for the Bearcats’ psyches.
Put the family in the car and head over to West Monroe for the 7 p.m. kickoff on Friday to give the Bearcats the support they need for a playoff victory.

Report: Pre-k enrollment high in South

According to the report, research makes clear more than one year of early intervention can benefit children, particularly those in most need; however, few states have taken steps to open state-funded pre-k to three year olds except for those with disabilities, generally because of funding restraints. In 2006, only two percent of three year olds in the southern region were enrolled in a state-funded pre-k program, compared to 33 percent of four year olds.
