Curtis Hawkins said the fire truck, driven by Dustin Baker, 25, of Ruston, was headed east on West California Avenue when the automobile, driven by Antonio Tomas, 31, of Carthage, Miss., pulled out of the parking lot of Hong Kong Buffet into the path of the truck, resulting in the collision.
