One arrested for attempted burglary

Alonzo Collins, 19, of Ruston, was captured and arrested on charges of attempted burglary of an inhabited dwelling. He was booked into the Lincoln
Parish Detention Center, with bond to be set.
Hawkins said Collins is originally from the New Orleans metro area.
Officers were unable to apprehend the second suspect.
A broken window was discovered in the area that the officers had heard glass breaking. Nothing was taken from the residence.

No memories of stay at ICU

I hit the floor, and those around me rushed to my desk and held my head while 911 was called. Apparently my arms were vibrating wildly, my eyes had rolled back and my tongue was out of my mouth. It was not a very pretty sight.
I scared everyone to death.
The assessment of the situation was that I had three brain seizures — one at my desk, one in the ambulance and one in the emergency room. I do not remember any of it. I also do not remember any of the four days I spent in intensive care. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience.

LGH enters negotiations to sell

CHS operates facilities similar to Lincoln General, providing its hospitals with access to capital, physician recruitment, managed care expertise and support from health care management specialists with extensive experience operating non-urban health care facilities.
This acquisition would change the not-for-profit status of Lincoln General to a for-profit hospital under CHS’s ownership.
CHS-affiliated hospitals offer a broad range of inpatient medical and surgical services, outpatient treatment and skilled nursing care.
