Alexander drafts bill to support soldiers

“This is unfair to the brave men and women who are serving in our Armed Services,” Alexander said. “Right now, our world is witnessing a great deal of instability in the Middle East, as well as other areas. Our nation relies on the commitment of all of our service members who are both on active duty and in the reserves. District 5 club in Big League Series

A team guided by Parkman also made appearances at the World Series in 2002 and 2004.
The manner in which they’ve earned their latest berth was a no-doubter, the Louisiana District 5 squad outscoring their opponents 45-4 in the regionals.
In the championship game, a 10-1 decision was gained over East Texas.
Other victories included 14-1 over Colorado, 10-1 over West Texas and 11-1 over Texas East.
“With the championship in the Southwest regionals, we now leave for the Big League World Series and will begin our play on Sunday (July 30) against South Carolina,” Parkman said.
