Petersen officially on board

Louisiana Tech head football coach Skip Holtz has announced that Tony Petersen has been named the team’s new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
A record-setting quarterback at Marshall, Petersen joins the Louisiana Tech Family after serving as the co-offensive coordinator at Marshall for three seasons in the second of two stints at his alma mater. He comes to Ruston with over 20 years coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level.

Techsters rally past Vandals

MOSCOW, Idaho -- Following a 19-hour trip to Moscow the day before, Louisiana Tech found itself trailing the Idaho Vandals by 20 points early in the second half of Thursday night’s Western Athletic Conference contest at Cowan Spectrum.
Head Coach Teresa Weatherspoon’s bunch dug deep and used a game-ending 37-8 run to record the second largest come-from-behind victory in the program’s history, as the Lady Techsters defeated Idaho 67-58.
