More people can be seen outside doing yard work, washing their vehicles and firing up the grill.
Additionally, the heat has residents reaching for big cups of water to stay hydrated.
When using water for all purposes this summer, just keep in mind to conserve. After all, Lincoln Parish is dependent on a source of water that is in danger of running out due to overuse.

Festival remains ‘Peachy Keen’

in
Bergeron, Nancy.jpg

When I was a full-time reporter, my favorite Louisiana Peach Festival event to cover was the diaper derby.
In a diaper derby, toddlers or crawlers are supposed to toddle or crawl a predetermined distance as fast as they can. Sometimes they do, and sometimes they just sit there, despite their parents’ and grandparents’ valiant efforts to lure down the lane with toys, cell phones, sippy cups, Cheerios and even giant dill pickles.

So is that bothering the All-Pro whose main concerns usually deal with avoiding pass rushers during the season?
Rogers recently sought out former Louisiana Tech University defensive back Williams for an insight on how to adjust to the big 30.
